2.0 Promotion Hot Air Balloon

(Jun 29, 2017) When it comes to Superstar Rajinikanth starrer films, one can easily expect something extremely unique. Apart from his power packed performances, the promotional strategies of his films are also largely loved by the fans. Now just like his other films, his next grand flick 2.0, the second installment of Robot, has started its promotions and it is bigger than your imagination! The film has started making name not only in India, but in US too. The makers today released a hot air balloon with life size images of Rajinikanth and Bollywood’s khiladi- Akshay Kumar, who also stars in the film. The balloon was seen floating in the air across the popular ‘Hollywood’ sign in US.

2.0 postponed the release making the fans wait desperately for the final date. As fans waited impatiently, the makers made it a point that this wait is gifted amazingly! Now they have shared these exclusive pictures of the hot air balloon promoting the film’s name. The balloon indeed indicates the massiveness of the film! The test inflation was done two days ago after the weather in the region was clear.

Raju Mahalingam, the producer of Lyka productions, shared a video which takes us to the behind-the- scenes of this promotional strategy. The producer earlier was quoted saying, “As we don’t look at this film as an Indian production but a Hollywood movie, we wanted to do something different. So, we ordered for a 100-foot-tall hot air balloon eight months ago. On Tuesday, the balloon will be up over the Hollywood signage in Los Angeles.”

The makers will now move to places like strategic places in London, Dubai, San Francisco, Europe, Australia and various cities in India for further promotions. So, don’t be surprised if you spot a huge blue balloon in your city soon!
