Superstar Rajinikanth who s presently shooting for his upcoming film 'Kabali' in Malaysia did something that he has never done in India.

Rajinikanth took part as the chief guest in the inaugural of a new shop and also inaugurated the shop by cutting the ribbon. It was a showroom of his fan Datuk Abdul Malik Dasthageer who is a Rajini fan and also the distributor of 'Kabali' in Malaysia. The brand new showroom is located in Jalan Tun Tan Siew Sin.

The Superstar has never endorsed any private product or took part in inaugural functions of commercial establishments in Tamil Nadu or any other part of India. This is a rare gesture by the Thalaivar for his ardent fan.

Meanwhile the shooting of 'Kabali' directed by Pa.Ranjith is fast nearing completion and is expected to be wrapped up within this month. Rajinikanth will return to Chennai and join the shoot of '2.0' directed by Shankar, which will recommence in March 2016.
