Actor Chinni Jayanth, who is popular for his roles college student in numerous film in the 80s and 90s is proud father as his son Srujan Jai had recently cleared the IAS 2019 examinations, with an all India 74th rank. While the Tamil film industry fraternity has applauded his achievement, superstar Rajinikanth had recently called and wished the youngster for his achievement.

Apparently actor Chinni Jayanth had shared the good news with all his close friends in the film industry, which included superstar Rajinikanth, whom he considers his guru. Interestingly, Rajinikanth had conveyed his wishes to Chinni Jayanth and also said that he is very proud that Chinni Jayanth's son has achieved this making his parents proud.

The yesteryear comedian has told the superstar that he would meet him along with his son once the lockdown and corona situation comes to an end. Chinni Jayanth began his career in 1984 as a villain in director J. Mahendran's film Kai Kodukkum Kai alongside Rajinikanth after which he had carved a niche for himself with his unique style of comedy

Chinni Jayanth's son Srujan has revealed that he is intent on focussing on the development of education, commerce and women empowerment when he gets into the administrative services.
