Petta Telugu Pre Release Function

Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta will be releasing worldwide on January 10 and the film has got a huge amount of expectations among Thalaivar fans and ardent cinema followers.

The pre-release event for the Telugu dubbed version of Petta happened last night in Hyderabad, which was attended by director Karthik Subbaraj, Anirudh Ravichander, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, and Malavika Mohanan.

During his speech at the event, director Karthik Subbaraj said,"I am very happy to be here at Hyderabad. My first film was Pizza and it released here. Also, it got a very good response from the audience in Andhra Pradesh. Since then, I have always felt so positive and happy whenever I come here.

Petta is not only a dream film for me, but also for the entire cast and crew, as we all have been great fans of Superstar. I thank Sun Pictures for giving us this opportunity.

This film will definitely be a feast for all Thalaivar fans and the general audience. Petta has a strong story with a family backdrop. There is a lot of action packed with 'Thalaivar' moments. It is a festival film and I feel the film should be celebrated like a festival. Releasing on the Sankranti festival will add to the mood.

I know it is a heavy competition, as there are two other biggies (Vinaya Vidheya Rama and NTR Biopic) releasing in the same time. I wish them all the best. I am someone who believes that the audience will support good films. So, in that way, I believe Petta will find the audience's support and win their hearts."
