Overseas - Chandramukhi FDFS Celebrations

I had  been waiting for the movie desperately. I thank the organisers of the show without whom I couldn't have a memorable evening. Finally I thank Rajinifans.com for giving me this opportunity to share my experience."

Vimal (Sydney) - "We went to cm on the first day 1st show here in sydney fairfeild cinemas. we were waiting nearly 2 hours in a long Q .ausrtalian would havent seen such a crowd in their life time.the peoples here was stunned of the crowd which waits for viewing a movie.our friend nearly 50 of us went together.the theatre was full of indians.its was like a get together where v met all indians together.each and everyone felt like wathcing thalaivars movie in home town.i hav forward some picture also."

Varadharajan (Bremen) - "Here we watched chandramukhi last saturday, Apr 16th...they screened twice in our city Bremen which is not  usual for other films...unlike USA, here any tamil movie will be screened only once in one city as the audience are limited...Srilankan Tamils are more here and they are the audience...mostly people from Tamil Nadu are students and they prefer to watch only Rajini movies in theater.

There is no much clappings or whistle during the movie as all people were with family...so we missed that environment..but still we enjoyed the movie very much in big screen with good sound system.  I don't need to tell anything about the movie..it is simply super.

Vithay - " Two theaters near my area was houseful and we have to drive somewhere to watch it. We saw the movie at Welington Theater, Toronto, Ontario. It was on Sunday @ 10:30pm with family and came home@ 2:40am.

Fans were whistling big time when Rajini introduced in the screen. Loved all the songs and i was screaming when super star n jo came out, its great2 c him back on screen again The crowd is very hyped up about chandramukhi and my friends wants to see the film again especially for the climax part. Even my friends husbands and Boyfriends like it very much"

Jayaprakash - "Just now I saw the movie and replying u all immdly.. The movie is great and the response from the london people is smashin.......

A good example is...The movie was going fine till interval...After the interval it directly started with one song  and we all were shouting and making galatta.... all the fans were angry and called the owners he came and he said he will put from the interval scene but he did not do as promised as it takes more time to rotate theprint... then we all started protesting again and police came and arrested 4 people... but as we are all rajini fans we did not allow them and police patiently listened to us and ordered the theatre owner to start the film from the interval....it was great during that time all were united for one cause

NOT TO MISS EVEN A SECOND FROM THALAIVARS FILM....

Dheena - CM was screened on the 13th of April in SL. I think SL was first to screen CM throughout the whole world. I know u would be wondering y 13th, bcoz 14th was the tamil new year. In SL 13th and 14th r called the Tamil & Sinhalease new year. Though both community celebrate on 14th, Sinhalease ppl also celebrate the day before new year which is called the "old year". So both days r given holidays by the government of SL. This time the theater management made use of this. As we know Rajini is not only known by tamilians throughout this world, many sinhalease also know rajini very well than any other tamil actor. 

CM was screened in Colombo in 2 theaters. which was Concored and Cine city complex. Concored is an old theater, but after more than a year of reconstruction, they opened the theater with a big bang by screening CM. This made the crowed not only to come watch the movie also the theater. Usually in Colombo theaters (accept for the 1st day) it is allowed to advance book tickets. But for this movie tickets were not allowed to advance book for 2 weeks.

Out of Colombo it was screened in North and East, which were the war areas before. Specially in East, in Batticaloa there were advance bookings for this movie 2 weeks before the 14 th of April. Also they had a cycle competition during the week the movie was realesed and the prize was for 2 winners who came first to go to india and meet rajini face to face.

Since there are few tamil theaters in Colombo, usually a movie does not run for long time. But CM has passed its 50th day and still running successfully."
