Box office Flash 19: After Titanic & CM, Sivaji creates record in Dubai! Date : 16/07/07 Sivaji is reaping tonnes of money in all places it released. From sources, i got information that almost all theatres got back their investment and now purely tasting the profit. As per reports - Some theatres already made doubel of their investments and now exceeding them.
A city theatre is still selling the tickets at higher price and not bothered abt the rate. When asked to reduce the rate, they said, "Why should we reduce the rate? If in this present rate - even if the theatre's average occupancy is 60% - it is more than enough for us. No other film except Sivaji would get occupancy like this in 5th week. In weekends, we feel tremendous pressure. So, once reduced, we can't again hike the rate. Let us decide on August" I think almost many of the theatres are thinking like this.
Now back to Dubai news
We think almost all Tamilians in Dubai and South Indians will watch Sivaji thereby making it a record film.
Sivaji breaks Titanic record in Dubai
Last week Friday one of our member Jegan watched 10:30pm show SIVAJI in DUBAI Galleria Theatre. He is watching the movie for the 5th time. Theatre is completely houseful. He managed to get only second row for the show. We saw some family audience is watching the movie in the first row for that night show. U have to remember that this is not INDIA, this is Dubai where SIVAJI still attracts people even after 25 days. (Now 30 days over) .We came to know only two movies ran in Dubai for 30 days the first one is TITANIC and the second one is CHANDRAMUKI. We surely bet SIVAJI will break those records.

On Thursday(12-07-07) Sivaji release in DONYA multiplex. They screened Sivaji in two screens. This is the first time in that multiplex a movie released in two screens. Due to heavy rush for first day (12-07-07) they arranged two special shows in the midnight at12:30 and 1:30 . That shows are houseful. SIVAJI is creating a magic in UAE.
