Normally movies would be released in only one theatre. So, the single theatre crowd + extra 500 peoples are splitting into three. This is because of the that area distributor who just wanted the investments to return soon. Soon, the movie will be cut in two theatres and confined to only one theatre. After that the movie is expected to run for 100 days there.

And in Tutucorin, Sivaji has been taken from Balakrishna. As i told u already this is a pre-release agreement of Cleopatra theatre with Balakrishna theatre. It is Cleopatra theatre who bought the movie with hefty amount and they again put an agreement with that area distributor to screen the movie in another theatre in their area for 3 weeks just to get back the investment soon. Now the movie is removed from Balakrishna and Cleopatra is running to packed houses.

Recently we read in article in sify that Ajith's Kreedom Chennai rights was sold at the rate of 75 Lakhs. Since Ajith's last movie didn't perform well, this was the rate. If it did, then the rate would have been near 1 crore. And for Vijay and other top actors the Chennai city rate was 1.25 crores. You all know Sivaji's Chennai rate was 6.5 Crores. Then think how big the rate is. So, to ensure quick retuns AVM and the distributors have released Sivaji in additional theatres with pre-release agreement.
