Chandramukhi has made a unmatachable record in Tamil till date and it can be beat only by Superstar's Sivaji. This is true and all know. Normally when any movie crosses 100 days or more than days in a theatre, and while nearing Silver Jubilee - the hall will be only with 25% of occupants and not more that. This is applicable to all movies crossing silver jubilee.

In the case of Chandramukhi, the halls were full upto 150 days and day by day the percentage got diminished. Now average no: of viewers in Shanthi for Chandramukhi is 75 persons per show each day. In weekends it goes uptp 125 to 200 and sometimes more than that.

Moreover, Sivaji productions, the producers of the movie wanted to create a record for their banner and they are doing so. That is making run till now. A strange point is nowadays even just released movies in many parts of the theatre have occupancey rate of 20 to 25% even in weekends. Comparing to that - occupancy of Chandramukhi with 25% viwereship is not a thing.
