Superstar Rajinikant's next film is to be named as 'Jaggubhai' and is to be directed by K S Ravikumar. Even as Kollywood is abuzz with Kamal Hassan agreeing to do the Tamil remake of Hindi superhit 'Munnabhai MBBS', the name of Rajini's new film comes as a surprise, say sources in the industry.The sources said 'Jaggubhai' would be Rajini's home production and the basic story line would be the superstar's.

After the usual discussions, shooting is to begin in July and the tentative schedule for the film's release is Pongal. The story doing the rounds is that it was Ravikumar who was supposed to do Kamal's 'Munnabhai' film but opted out of the project as he was called by Rajini to do his film. Though Rajini has reportedly not decided on the heroine of his film, Kamal seems to have chosen Sneha for the 'Munnabhai' film.
