Rajini in Singapore & Malaysia Stage Show

It was the first week of October 1992, Rajni did his first star night programme in Singapore with the group of Mrs. Latha Rajnikanth. He did some dance movement also in the stage. When they asked him to speak some words, he started like
" Naan romba satharna aalunga..." (I'm an ordinary person..)

There was big response from the audience for his introduction. In fact, he didn't come to participate in the programme, he just came to watch all the events. But, it was the first function, Rajni himself declared in the stage that he wouldn't come in to politics at any circumstances.

When Rajini arrived Singapore for this show, there were about 5000 fans crowded at the airport. That was the first time Singapore saw such a huge crowd at the airport. Rajini was redirected by the Singapore Police through VIP exit. The next day, Singapore local media such as the English and Tamil paper and TV covered this news.

After that, he made a visit to Kuala Lumpur & Singapore in the end of January 1995. This time, he performed so many dance sequences and dialogues from the film "Baasha". There was heavy publicity given to the arrival of Super Star in Singapore. I think, his purpose of the visit was to collect the money for the welfare of "The Ashram"

But, this time BaBa has turned the lime light by just answering some few questions in Malayshia. Sources are saying that he was very happy during this trip. Will Singapore/Malaysia tamilian get one more chance?
