He waited until the historic election results cleared the deck. And now, with TVK securing a powerful position in Tamil Nadu politics, Lawrence releases a video seeking "permission" to likely contest a safe by-election.

Using his mother’s change of heart as a shield cannot hide a glaring political reality: This looks like power-centered opportunism, plain and simple.

Turning a Blind Eye to the Abuse of Thalaivar

What cuts the deepest for the millions of users on Rajinifans.com is the absolute hypocrisy from VIPs and Kollywood actors who use Rajinikanth’s name for market value but abandon his dignity for political gain.

We have watched in disgust as specific political factions and internet IT cells—deeply rooted within the broader support base of rival star camps—have spent months relentlessly abusing, trolling, and disrespecting Thalaivar online. They have mocked his age, his health, and his legacy.

How does a self-proclaimed "die-hard fan" look past that? Lawrence claims in his video that he is "against hate politics" and that Vijay is "like a brother." But by stepping onto a TVK platform, Lawrence effectively tells those toxic groups: "Your abuse of my mentor doesn't matter, as long as I get a seat."

You cannot claim Rajinikanth is a "father figure" in your cinema audio launches while happily validating a political ecosystem that degrades him on a daily basis.

The Mandate is Clear: Leave Thalaivar Out of Your Politics

The apex leadership of the Rajini Makkal Mandram recently made it official: No one is allowed to use Rajinikanth's name, photos, or flags for political leverage.

Lawrence clearly knew this blockade was coming, which is why he spent a massive chunk of his 18-minute video trying to emotionally manipulate the audience by recalling his childhood memories with Rajini. It was a clear damage-control move to soften the blow from the Rajini community.

Lawrence ended his video by asking the public to comment "Yes" or "No" on whether he should take the political leap.
