Notorious actor and co-artiste of Superstar Rajinikanth in many Tamil films, Mr.Raghuvaran, suddenly passed away this morning in a Chennai hospital bcoz of cardiac arrest. Our deep condolence to his family members.

Superstar has issued a condolence message for Raghuvaran's death.

He was shocked to hear the sudden demise of the veteran actor. To pay tributes to the actor, Kuselan shooting was cancelled for the whole after noon and also they paid a 'silent tribute' in the spot for two minutes, where the whole Kuselan team joined it.

Sathyanarayana pays homage on behalf of Superstar

Since Superstar was in Hyderabad for shooting, he couldn't pay tributes in person. Mr.Sathyanaryana, All India Rajinifan Clubs President paid homage to Raghuvaran on behalf of Superstar and condoled the actor's family in person. The cremation too was carried out on the evening itself - so Superstar couldn't attend it.

However, he has given a condolence message in Indian Express today for the actor. In that message, he has said: "It has always been a challenge to act along with Raghuvaran. A very spiritual person, we had many enriching conversations during the shoot of Sivaji The Boss. As a good friend of his, I was very happy to see him return to the silverscreen after a break. His death is a loss to Tamil cinema. We will miss him."
