Kanndasan’s blessings to Thalaivar!

Usually, we have seen the pictures in which our Thalaivar blessing others who touch his feet. But here is a rare picture of our Thalaivar who got blessed by the great poet of this century Kannadasan.

Rajini always respected Kannadasan and he is one of the greatest fans of Kannadasan’s literary works.

Both Rajini and Kannadasan have once attended an event in Chennai as Chief Guests. It was the period when Rajini attained the status of Superstar in Tamil Cinema.

Usually, Kannadasan came late to most of the functions. But for that particular event, Kannadasan came in much before the time mentioned in the invitation.

As usual Rajini entered the event hall at correct time. He was shocked when seeing Kannadasan in the stage. Suddenly Rajini went to the stage and touched Kannadasan’s feet and seeking his blessings.

Kannadasan was shocked to see such a great admiration and respect from a superstar of his time. He blessed Rajini a lot and later praised him for his love and patience towards his profession and seniors in the industry.
