Superstar Rajinikanth, who watched R Madhavan’s Rocketry: The Nambi Effect in a private screening, has heaped praises on the movie. Taking to Twitter, Rajinikanth called it ‘a must watch’, especially for the youth. He also congratulated Madhavan on his directorial debut adding that his work was at par with the best directors.

The superstar of cinema has also appreciated Parthiban's effort in making a single shot non-linear for the first in the world and wished the team a success.

Rajinikanth releases teaser for International Chess Olympiad in Chennai

Superstar Rajinikanth on Friday released a teaser video for the 44th International Chess Olympiad scheduled to take place at Mamallapuram near Chennai from July 28 to August 10.

“The 44th FIDE Chess Olympic is happening for the first time in India and that too in Tamil Nadu; it is a proud moment for all of us. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the event on July 28,” he said.

Rajinikanth said he was happy to release the video, which was made by director Vignesh Sivan and musician A R Rahman.

On Income Tax day, Superstar Rajinikanth was honored by the Income Tax department in Chennai for paying his taxes on a regular basis. Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar also received a certificate from the Income Tax department as the nation's "highest taxpayer".

Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, took to Instagram and shared the update with the actors' fans. 

"Proud daughter of a high and prompt taxpayer. Many thanks to the #incometaxdepartment of Tamilnadu and Puducherry for honouring appa on #incometaxday2022 #onbehalfofmyfather," she captioned the post, adding a few pictures of herself receiving the samman patra.
