Amicable settlement in Kuselan issue; Exhibitors hail our Thalaivar

Nallavangala Aandavan Romba Sodhippan… Aana Ennikkum Kai Vidamaattan… (Though the almighty is testing the good people, he never leaves them in dark!), is the famous dialogue (or proverb of the world of Rajini fans!) of Thalaivar in many of his films.

Yes… once again the almighty proves his blessings towards our beloved Thalaivar, the one and only superstar of India.

The 20 days old tussle between the producers, distributors and exhibitors of Superstar Rajini’s latest release Kuselan has reached an end. All the three powerful associations of Tamil cinema have came to a smooth and amicable settlement today after the agreement signed between Rama Narayanan, the President of Producers Council and Annamalai, President of Exhibitors Association.

At the end of Today’s discussion, Rama Narayanan and Annamalai released a joint press release on the smooth settlement of this issue.

According to the statement, a section of media has wrongly projected the whole issue and portrays that all the exhibitors are against the Superstar Rajini and distributors association in Kuselan issue. The Exhibitors association also refused that they have never announced any non co operational movements against the producers of Kuselan i.e., Pyramid Saimira, Kavithalaya, Seven Arts and Ayngaran International.

“We are the people here for years. We know the business and its up and downward trends. So, Kuselan matter will not be an issue here after and it would be amicably settled by us. We would request the media not to project anything against the industry without proper evidences or official releases from us!” the report says.
Also the report owes that the members of all the trade bodies will never give independent statement or declaration about any film’s business without the knowledge of concerned authorities in future.

Exhibitors praise on Thalaivar!

Meanwhile the exhibitors association overwhelmingly hailed our Superstar for his magnanimity and passion towards the industry people’s welfare.

The exhibitors association convened an urgent meeting yesterday afternoon at Teynampet to resolve the issue of Kuselan. During the meet, all the members of the association heaped laurels on our Thalaivar Rajinikanth for coming forward to compensate the loss though he is not the producer or full length hero of the movie.

“No doubt, Rajini sir is the person who always stands for genuine, magnanimity and greatness. We never targeted him at any stage in this issue. In fact we never demanded compensation from him. We have clearly mentioned this in our press statements also. But Rajini sir himself called us and heard our grievances and came forward to settle 35 percent of the MG as compensation. No one in the Industry is having this kind of great heart… We must thankful to the great soul Rajini sir...” say the members unanimously in the meet.

The President of Kanchi-Thiruvallur Theater owners association, Panneer Selvam also praised Superstar Rajini for his kind approach when he met him a week before with some of his office bearers.

How much they get back?

According to the producers of Kuselan, they have finally accepted to pay back nearly 40 percent of MG amount paid by the exhibitors (Excluding Pyramid Saimira Theaters).
The exact amount details will be released in a couple of days!

தீர்ந்தது குசேலன் பிரச்சினை! ரஜினிக்கு தியேட்டர் ...

ஒருவழியாக முடிவுக்கு வந்துவிட்டது குசேலன் சிக்கல்.

தயாரிப்பாளர்கள், விநியோகஸ்தர்கள் மற்றும் திரையரங்க உரிமையாளர்களுக்கிடையே ஒரு சுமூக உடன்பாடு ஏற்பட்டதைத் தொடர்ந்து, இப்பிரச்சினை இத்தோடு நிறுத்திக் கொள்வதாகவும், நஷ்ட ஈடு குறித்த அனைத்தையும் சுமூகமாகப் பேசித் தீர்த்துக் கொள்வதாகவும் திரையரங்க உரிமையாளர்கள் அறிவித்துள்ளனர்.

மேலும் இப்பிரச்சினையில் தனக்கு சம்பந்தமில்லாவிட்டாலும், மனிதாபிமான அடிப்படையில் தானே முன்வந்து நஷ்ட ஈடு வழங்குவதாக அறிவித்த சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினிக்கு திரையரங்க உரிமையாளர்கள் சார்பில் நன்றியும் பாராட்டும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.

குசேலன் விவகாரம் முடித்து வைக்கப்பட்டது குறித்து தமிழ் திரைப்பட தயாரிப்பாளர் சங்கத் தலைவர் ராம நாராயணன், திரையரங்க உரிமையாளர் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் ஆர்எம் அண்ணாமலை ஆகியோர் விடுத்துள்ள கூட்டறிக்கை:

சினிமா என்ற கலை உலகம் வெற்றி தோல்வி என்று மாறி மாறி வரக்கூடிய வியாபாரம் என்று திரையுலக சம்பந்தப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு தெரியும். இது நீருக்குள் இருக்கும் மீனுக்கு விலை பேசுவது போலத்தான்.

சுறா மீன் கிடைக்கும் என நினைத்து விலை பேசினால் அயிர மீன் கிடைக்கலாம். அயிரை மீனுக்கு விலை கொடுத்து வலை வீசினால் சுறா மீனும் கிடைக்கலாம். இது அவரவர் அதிர்ஷ்டத்தை பொறுத்தது.

இந்நிலையில் குசேலன் பட விவகாரம் கிட்டத்தட்ட இருபது நாட்களாக நடந்து வருவது அனைவரும் அறிந்ததே. வருடத்திற்கு 100 படங்கள் ரீலீசானால் 10 படங்கள் மட்டுமே வெற்றி பெறுவது கடந்த 50 ஆண்டுகளாக நடந்து வருவதாகும். இந்த நிலையில் கலையுலகை சேர்ந்த நாங்கள் மனம் விட்டு பேசினோம். அதன் பலனாக கசப்பான நிகழ்வுகள் முடிவுற்று நல்ல நிலை உருவாகி உள்ளது.

குசேலன் பிரச்சினை

குசேலன் படம் தயாரித்த கவிதாலயா, செவன்ஆர்ட்ஸ் ஆகிய 2 நிறுவனங்களுக்கும் படத்தை வெளியிட்ட சாய்மீரா நிறுவனத்திற்கும் மற்றும் ஐங்கரன் பிலிம் இண்டர் நேஷனல் நிறுவனம் ஆகியவற்றிற்கும் குசேலன் படத்திற்கு ஆதரவாக அறிக்கை வெளியிட்ட வினியோகஸ்தர்கள் சங்க நிர்வாகிகளுக்கும் ஒத்துழைப்பு கொடுக்க மாட்டோம் என தமிழ்நாடு திரையரங்கு உரிமையாளர்கள் சங்கம் தீர்மானித்ததாக சில பத்திரிக்கைகள் வெளியிட்ட தவறான செய்தி பற்றி விரிவாக பேசி விவாதித்தோம்.

திரையுலகம் என்பது ஒரு கூட்டு குடும்பம் மாதிரி. இதில் அண்ணன்- தம்பிகளுக்குள் சிறு சிறு கருத்து வேற்றுமைகள் வருவது போல எங்கள் அமைப்புகளில் வந்தது. அதை மனம் விட்டுப் பேசி தீர்த்துக்கொண்டோம்.

தன்னிச்சையாக முடிவெடுக்க மாட்டோம்!

அதன்படி இனிவரும் காலங்களில் காலம் காலமாக திரையுலகில் கடைபிடித்து வரும் வியாபார தர்மங்களை கடைபிடிப்பது என்றும், தன்னிச்சையாக எந்த முடிவுகளையும் எடுப்பதில்லை என்றும் ஏற்கனவே சில பத்திரிக்கைகளில் குசேலன் படம் சம்பந்தமாக வெளிவந்த சில கருத்துக்கள் எங்களால் சொல்லப்படவில்லை என்று திரையரங்கு உரிமையாளர்கள் கூறியிருக்கிறார்கள் என்பதையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.

தமிழ்த் திரைப்படத் தயாரிப்பாளர்கள், திரைப்பட வினியோகஸ்தர்கள், திரையரங்கு உரிமையாளர்கள் ஆகிய 3 பிரிவினரும் கலை உலகிற்கு முப்பெரும் சக்தியாக முத்தமிழாக இருந்து வருகிறோம்.

எதிர்காலத்திலும் இது தொடரும். நடந்ததெல்லாம் மறந்திருப்போம். நடப்பதையே நினைத்திருப்போம். ஒற்றுமையே ஓங்கும் என்பதை தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்.
இவ்வாறு அந்த அறிக்கையில் கூறியுள்ளனர்.

மாமனிதர் ரஜினி

முன்னதாக காஞ்சிபுரம் – செங்கல்பட்டு திரையரங்க உரிமையாளர்கள் சங்கத்தின் சார்பில் நடந்த ஆலோசனாக் கூட்டத்தில் சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினியின் மனிதாபிமான அணுகுமுறைக்கு நன்றியும் பாராட்டும் தெரிவித்தனர் உறுப்பினர்கள் அனைவரும்.

ரஜினி என்ற மாமனிதருக்கு அவமரியாதை செய்யும் எண்ணம் எங்களுக்கில்லை (ஹை... ரோபோ வருதுல்ல!). எங்கள் பிரச்சினைகளை தாமாகவே முன்வந்து கூப்பிட்டுக் கேட்டார். 35சதவிகித நஷ்ட ஈடு தரவும் முன்வந்தார். இத்தனைக்கும் படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளர் அவரில்லை. இந்த மனசு யாருக்கு வரும், ரஜினி படங்களுக்கு எங்கள் ஆதரவு என்றும் உண்டு, என்றார் சங்கத்தின் தலைவர் பன்னீர் செல்வம்.
