Thalaivar said in his speech that when Shankar initially approached him for Robot he thought that he is approaching him for villain Dany Dengzoppa role. And he also cited that one who speaks about himself and his success is a joker. And one who think negative is villain. And one who think positively and spreads positive vibes is a real hero. He also revealed that he is going to write a book on Making of Robot with the happenings related to the movie making.

Chiru said that thalaivar deceived him by keeping away from politics. Also he opened up that he wish to face the camera again after seeing stills and trailers of Endhiran.

Event account: Megastar Chiranjeevi unveiled the audio CD albums of Tamil superstar Rajnikant and director Shankar’s magnum opus,  Robot.   The music was launched at a special audio launch ceremony held at Taj Krishna on Thursday evening (August 6, 2010). Rajnikant and Shankar flew down from Chennai, Chiranjeevi, Ramanaidu, Mohan Babu, Ramesh Prasad of Prasad Group, cinematographer Ratnavelu, Sun TV Pictures’ CEO Saxena, writer Ramakrishna, lyricists Bhuvanachandra, Suddala Ashok Teja and Vanamali and other guests from Tollywood graced. Heroines Kajal and Kamna Jethmalini also attended to provide glamour although they are not part of the film.
