Sivaji's triump in Tiruchendur

Sivaji was released in Gnanakumar for 4 shows and still running there. The movie performance was amazing for the first month with houseful shows. Now the movie is running average in weekdays and 80% in weekends. Auspicious days are ahead in this spiritual town of Lord Muruga and the movie is expected to do better in coming Avani month of Tamil Calendar.

You know in the same town there is a theatre called Krishna (Chandramukhi released here) They screened Veeraappu. Veerappu is termed as a hit movie by trade circles, you might know that. (This is the only movie which was termed as hit movie by trade sources after Sivaji's release). Now after 17 days Veerappu has been removed in this theatre and Mozhi has been screened as second release. But Sivaji is still running here and that too four shows. The capacity of a declared hit movie is just 17 days but Boss is still running here. (This is a record!!) By this simple logic, you can understand how big must be Sivaji's hit.

Many theatres which removed Sivaji after (7^th week) 50 days and screened new movies could not able to get sufficient audiences for second week. Whereas Sivaji attracted good number of audiences in the 7^th week. They are feeling very much for removing Sivaji. Because during weekends they were reaping hefty amount as collections for Sivaji.

Record as per segment 5: Aadi Special shows at Tiruthani Golden

You might be aware that Sivaji is now running in Mini Golden in Tiruthani which has a seating capacity of 250 +.

According to reports - during the auspicious day of Aadi Pooram and Aadi Krithigai they screened 8 special shows of Sivaji continuously. Remember this was at the 10^th week. (This is a record!!)
