Other States in India : Sivaji The Boss Movie FDFS Celebrations
Mumbai
Bangalore
Mangalore (Karnataka)
Die-hard fans of Tamil cine star Rajnikanth in Mangalore will finally get to watch their Hero on silver screen with the release of his much awaited flick 'Sivaji: The Boss'. The movie was finally released here at Patinum and Adlabs today.
Nothing perhaps better illustrates the Rajnikant phenomenon more than a huge hoarding at Platinum that shows the iconic superstar wearing a corduroy jacket and with a strutting posture.
Platinum theatre saw a mad frenzy for tickets, determined not to miss a first day first show in Mangalore today. "I got the ticket for Rs 150/- giggles one of the fans; I have tickets for one more day and I will not miss it" he says. Standing on the line to watch the first show itself is a "Paisa vasool" for another fan who bought the ticket on black market rate. Platinum will screen four regular shows of the movie from today.
The movie buffs in the city had to wait for nearly 2 weeks after its release until the theatres here obtained the print of the film from Bangalore based distributor Pai & Company. Due to the restriction imposed by the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce on the number of prints that could be released for non-Kannada films in the State, Rajni fans had to wait for so long amidst the media hype

It’s really mind blowing that we are getting all news just like hot cake from your website. Keep going. Please attach this information in Sivaji Worldwide opening column. Some snaps are also attached herewith.
I was waiting for the past 3 weeks for the release of Sivaji. But I know it’s not possible to release Sivaji in Jaipur because there are very few Tamilians here. The south Indian community are comparatively lesser than other North Indian Cities. But after 3 weeks and due to unbelievable box-office collections in North Indian cities, Space INOX Multiplex released “Sivaji” last Friday (06-07-07). No one can believe that a Tamil movie got released in Jaipur. Despite the release of 3 Hindi movies last weekend, Sivaji is running to packed houses until now. I tried to get ticket but I can manage to get ticket only on Sunday. The response is mind blowing. Even a lot of curious North Indians are turning up to see what is so special in this movie. That's why this movie is still running with full houses and also advance booking is going great guns. It seems that this will continue for a long run in Jaipur. Now once again Thalaivar has proved that "East or West Superstar is the Best".
