As a continuation of records avalanche of Sivaji – herewith we present the record created at Sathyam Complex in Chennai.

Record in distributors' share

Sivaji retired from Sathyam complex after having a dream run for 125 days. Sivaji is the highest collected movie in Sathyam complex history – both in collection wise and distribution wise. It is also the first movie having maximum no. of advance bookings. According to Sify box office reports, for the first three week itself distributor's share was alone Rs.72 Lakhs from the two screens in this theatre. You should remember that the rest days running or collection is not included in this report. (The whole Chennai rate was Rs.6.5 crores!!)

Sivaji beats CM in Sathyam complex

Chandramukhi which had a spectacular running here, ran up to 105 days in the complex. Sivaji has beat that with 20 more days.

Even it is the first movie to have Special shows up to 11th week (77 days). This is a record of its kind. No movie except than Sivaji had such numerous special shows.

Note:

Total 159 days of running

You must keep in mind that Sivaji was screened in Santham too for 34 days. So, if you total both you would get 159days. Wow….what a record in this VCD/DVD age!! Also you shouldn't forget about the weekend special shows and other inner runnings.
