When
talking about Sivaji, this is my 4th film with Rajini
sir. My last hit in tamil was boys and also i say
Aayudha Ezhuthu. Hopefully, i will get back in this
film. I already composed 5 songs and all are
entertaining.
After confirming that Rajini going to act in Mudhalvan,
shankar asked me to compose one duet song, it will be
situation song, i took 3 days to complete "Mudhalvanae"
song for Rajini but Rajini decided to quit from
Mudhalvan. I received huge response for that song.
My first film with Rajini was Muthu. On composing the
tunes, Rajini suddenly came to my studio and requested
me to come up with a super hit songs and of course the
songs became super duper hit. I agree that my output for
Baba and PadaIyappa was not that great. I came to know
that many of my fans wish to do music for Rajini films
but it always turn out to be unsatisfactory. For sure,
Sivaji will rock!
Mostly,
i will do music only after hearing the story. I did the
same for "Jaggubai". when Superstar narrated the story,
i was happy that i got another "Roja" type movie. I
composed intro song for Jaggubai and it starts like "Aararai
Kodi. Since the movie was dropped, the song was used in
Anbae Aaruyirae. Another song from Jaggubhai was used in
Ajith's Varalaru (Kaatril oru vaarthai).
