Sultan
Moideen (Famous Chef)
Sultan Moideen, who is well known Chef at Chennai
Hotels, spoke about his experience with our Superstar
Rajini in 1996 magazine interview.
It might happen even if you become a VIP. In top
restaurants, if a VIP decides to have his lunch or
dinner, he or she might call on before and book the
table and dishes they might need to hog along with his
members.
RajiniKanth is entirely varied as he comes unexpected
and orders anything what he feels during the time and
rests down in any corner of the freely available table.
He does not have anything in the list to order up, just
tells the waiter to bring up anything which is not of
fat in content and of good taste. His favorite dishes
are “Attu – Tala Curry “ , “ Iddayapam – Paaya “ and shu
swon which is among Chinese.
The items which Rajini does not hog are sweets and ice
cream, but his both daughters like ice cream a lot.
According to star hotels, a waiter has to stay with
their customers until they leave. But it’s not in the
case for Rajini as he tells us to take care of other
customers.
He mostly comes after 9 PM along with his wife and
daughters and with his wife alone if it’s after 10:30
PM.
Chola Sherton, a junction where Rajini hooks at least
once in a week. An incident which happened in the star
hotel.
It was 11.45 PM as all customers have left the hotel,
the employees decided to have their dinner. Just some
moments surpassed, they were all shocked to see Rajini
ingresses into the hotel. Rajini paused them for a while
and asked them to have their dinner and in mean while he
started serving them dishes along side which made the
employees feel uneasy, for which Rajini aforementioned “
How many days you would have served me up, why not me
today for a change “.
A dish named Staff Curry which is made in light as it is
only served to employees is one of the favorite dishes
of Rajini as he hogs it the most by seeking it. The
other thing to be noted down is that he call their names
who ever it be from a waiter, supervisor, captains, etc.
That makes them feel better than calling with their
designated title.
Once during dining with his family in Chola Sherton,
Mani rathnam with his wife were four tables away and in
midst of them were a group of friends celebrating their
birthday. Once, they had the cakes with the songs [Happy
birthday ringing], Rajini entered the scene and wished
though not invited. It was quite a long time, they were
waiting for the bill and when they enquired a message
was delivered to them stating “Rajini has paid your
bills as your birthday gift “
